From championship pools and riverside parks to world-class recreation, every inch of Coosawattee is designed for your joy.
The Full Experience
Coosawattee River Resort is home to 11 distinct amenities spread across 5,500 acres of North Georgia wilderness. Whether you're seeking an invigorating swim, a peaceful morning of fishing, a competitive game of pickleball, or the perfect venue for a mountain wedding — it's all here, waiting for you.
The beating heart of the resort. Our Recreation Center is a full-service hub for every age and every mood — from pre-dawn workouts to late-night arcade sessions and everything in between. Open year-round, it's the one place you'll always find something to love.
Nestled along the banks of the Coosawattee River, the Riverside Pool Center is where summer memories are made. A suspension bridge links it to Indian Fish Trap Park — making it a true destination for an entire family day out. Available for private event rentals including birthdays and pool parties.
Known as the most tranquil pool on the property, Foxhound offers a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Surrounded by trees, complete with a pavilion, picnic area, and changing facilities — it's the ideal spot for a slow, golden afternoon.
Originally conceived as a fine dining restaurant, the Water Tower Conference Center commands breathtaking mountain views from every seat. Today it hosts the most memorable weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, reunions, and celebrations in the North Georgia mountains — accommodating up to 200 guests in spectacular style.
One of the resort's most beloved escapes — Beaver Lake is a catch-and-release fishing pond open to all owners and guests. No fishing license required. Pack a picnic, cast a line, and let the afternoon drift away in the company of still water and birdsong.
